Five “gifted and talented” musicians found themselves down pit row in a fuzzy garage of dissonant vintage synth lines from a goofy, brainy, classically-trained pianist whose Dad taught her to turn wrenches and sand Bondo; guitars from an outlaw country surf bum who likes to play with robots; melodic bass lines from an old soul punk in a young body; mad scientist beats from a former art-punk guitarist with a lo-fi primal swing who refuses to sit down; and vocals from a growly bearded dude spouting Father Time Truths and occasional stupidity.
Since forming in 2018, SUPERMODIFIED has gone through ALL of life’s messy parts, so their 2025 self-released first album, “Barely Held Together”, feels anxious, pent-up, and ready to blow up

With decades of experience in the Twin Cities music scene, members of SUPERMODIFIED have played in The 241s, The Violent SHifters, Aloha From Hell, Piñata Hearts, the ANONYMUS, Hukedicht USA, the Shockers, AS@OF, Vorpal Swords, Scuz, Struggle Punk, Rotten Hotdish, the Pine Box Preachers, and Corpse Show Creeps.
